The Corpus Historicum Fatimae Criticum is a permanent scholarly enterprise devoted to the historical-critical reconstruction of the 1917 Fátima events and their development across time.
By means of the systematic study of historiographical and original sources, it seeks to establish the historical truth of what occurred in Fátima with the classical rigor of the historical-critical method.
Standing as an independent monument of scholarship, it unites documentary evidence, methodological precision, and Catholic faith within a single critical edifice.
Founded and directed by Dr. Álvaro Albornoz Castro.

The Corpus Historicum Fatimae Criticum is a long-term scholarly undertaking devoted to establishing a unified critical history of the 1917 Fátima Apparitions and the connected events of the same apparitional cycle, through the systematic examination and ordering of the extant historiographical tradition and its documentary record.
Its work proceeds according to the classical historical-critical method, governed by the principles of source verification, critical discernment, and the ordered reconstruction of historical facts.
Conceived as an independent work of historical scholarship, the Corpus advances through successive stages of research and publication, in fidelity to the Catholic historiographical tradition in which the Fátima events were first received and transmitted.
Conceived and directed by the historian Dr. Álvaro Albornoz.
